High winds everywhere else made this sheltered water paddle a great choice for a day like this. For once Magic Seaweed was right and there was very little swell, with XC spot on with the wind. It`s always a nice paddle despite the coastline being relatively mundane by north coast standards. A pair of playful seals escorted us back for the last two miles, criss-crossing beneath us and following only inches away from the boats. All in all a great paddle and another twelve miles under our belts for what hopefully will be a better year than the last.
